Hi, it's me.

Okay, I'm one of the cool kids now! I've been contemplating a blog for a while now and I guess 2:26am January 2nd, 2009 seemed like the right time to go for it. I'm going to blame that for not being able to think of a better name.

I don't really know what I'm doing. I've forgotten the little HTML I learned in high school nine years ago, so I'm going to learn as I go. I'm not even sure how much of that I'll need. If anyone ever reads this, please feel free to offer suggestions, I'll gladly take them.

So what else. Well, I'm 27, a married mom of two, I'm on maternity leave right now and my favourite hobbies are crocheting and reading. I don't get enough time to do either. I work in an office for a grain exporting company. I'm Canadian. I live in a small town on the prairies with a population of less than 1000 people. My house is never clean, but I like to think that it's not usually too horrible - I just need more room for my books and yarn and it would probably help if I decluttered a bit, but I have a hard time throwing things out. I also have no real design sense. I grew up on a farm and would move back onto one in a second. I use way too many commas. I love my husband. I still feel funny saying "my husband."

This blog is going to evolve. I plan on using it to show off my crochet, keep a record of the books I read and possibly use it as a sounding board for whatever happens to be in my head at any given moment, assuming I ever any readers. I'd love to get feedback, and will probably do a happy dance for every comment I get because I get excited over things like that. Hopefully I will soon have something worth posting about.
